Editing Visual Schedule Cards

How to edit visual schedule cards

Visual schedules provide consistency and help students develop a routine. This is especially important for students with autism, but can be helpful for other children with additional needs as well!

Church can seem unfamiliar and because children normally are only at the church 1-3 times a week, it is not a routine they do every day. Providing visual schedules for children in your children’s ministry can help students anticipate what’s coming next and help them more easily participate.

Awe & Wonder offers a pack of visual schedules for children’s ministry, which you can find HERE.

Looking for schedule cards specific to a regular church service? You can find those HERE.

I understand that not every church context is the same and the wording used on the visual schedule cards included in the pack may not work for your environment and context. I’ve created the video below to show you how you can easily edit the cards with different words as needed.
